Community Development and Healthy Food Access in New Jersey

The Community Development and Healthy Food Access in New Jersey report explores methods of improving access to nutritious foods and expanding community-driven food retail in New Jersey.

The Food Trust and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation tasked Northfound with creating an engaging design to disseminate their research on food security in New Jersey. The solution was a digital report that emphasized typographic voice, using it to elevate key takeaways, while conveying confidence and accessibility. To call attention to the methodology and recommendations pages, a pastel bar motif was incorporated, representing progress, collaboration and innovation. Color-coded case studies throughout featured callouts and photography, bringing a warm touch to multiple tiers of information.
